Current Study

Haemochromatosis | FERROCLEAR

This study is testing a new medicine called vamifeport in adults with a genetic condition that causes the body to absorb too much iron. Participants are randomly given either vamifeport or a placebo (a look‑alike treatment), and neither they nor the researchers know which one they’re receiving. The main goal is to see whether vamifeport can reduce the amount of excess iron in the liver, measured using an MRI scan.
