Main Entry Criteria
- Diagnosed with COPD for at least 12 months
- Had recent flare-ups (at least 2 moderate or 1 severe in the past year; limited spots for those with only 1 moderate)
- At least one flare-up occurred while on regular treatment
- Currently on stable inhaled maintenance therapy (dual or triple)
Main Exclusion Criteria
- No significant lung disease other than COPD (like asthma)
No unstable or serious medical conditions that could affect safety or participation
Assessments
- Medical and family history, including medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements you take
- Vital signs like blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate
- Height, weight, waist circumference, and physical examination
- Blood draws and urine collection for laboratory tests
- Spirometry
- Electrocardiogram (ECG)
- Questionnaires related to the study
- Hair and skin examinations
